1/29/07 -
Our calendar supply is running dangerously low. We plan on selling the
remainder of our calendars at the Foxwoods Signing Event. If you mail
order your calendar after today, please include instructions in the
event we cannot provide a calendar. Your options are having your check
returned to you in the mail, or your check can be held and you will
receive a 2008 calendar after they are printed sometime in the fall.
1/17/07 -
The FINAL Calendar Signing Event will be held at the largest casino in the
world, Foxwoods Resort and Casino. The event will be held Friday February
9th at 10PM until whenever inside Club B.B King.

The Waterbury Firefighters are working on holding a Calendar Signing
Event at the Foxwoods Casino. We are currently ironing out the details
with representatives from Club B.B. King at the Casino and plan to announce
the date as soon as one is confirmed.
12/8/06 -
Help the Waterbury Firefighters improve the lives of Connecticut children
who have survived life altering burn injuries by purchasing the 4th Annual
WFD Christmas Ornament. This 2006 solid pewter ornament depicts the 1928
American LaFrance WFD Engine One. The ornaments are $8.00 each and all
sale proceeds benefit the Connecticut Children's Burn Camp.

The Favorite Firefighter Voting Poll was added to the website as a fun
feature to spur more interest in the calendar website. Apparently
someone took it upon themselves to mask their IP address and cast many
votes altering the results. To correct this, I have reset the votes to
zero. Please cast your vote again.
Hopefully the voting will stay honest and I can leave this feature on
the website.

The calendar signing event at the Crossroads Cantina was a huge success.
Thanks goes out to the Republican-American for their great Weekender story.
Georgia Sheron was in attendance and took some pictures while the guys were

Scott will be interviewed by 99.1 WPLR's Chaz & A.J. in
the Morning on Friday October 6th at 9:15AM. Scott will be promoting the
calendar signing event at the Crossroads Cantina on October 6th 6PM.

Information on the Jeff Trota Family Fund and Jeff Trota Memorial T-shirts
can be found here. Jeff was a 17 year
veteran of the Waterbury Fire Department before losing the battle against
cancer.

of the firefighters above to see his photo. The calendars are in the process
of being printed. The release date and first calendar signing date will be
announced as soon as the calendars come back from the printer.
